Huddersfield Town FC has announced that manager Liam Manning has left the club under a mutual decision.
Manning joined the club in January 2026 but stepped in March 2026 due to ongoing personal matter relating to the passing of this newborn son Theo in October 2024.
During his short time at the club, Manning managed 12 games, winning five, drawing three and losing four.
In a statement given by Manning he said:
“Stepping down from Huddersfield Town has been a difficult decision, but one i feel is best for the club, my family and myself at this time.”
Huddersfield Town Owner and Chairman Kevin Nagle made a statement.
“I want to pay a huge tribute to Liam today. Stepping away from this role is the correct decision for him and his family, and that comes before absolutley everything else.”
Huddersfield Town Sporting Director Chris Markham added:
“This is the right decision for the Manning family, and that is all that is important.”
