The West Yorkshire police have announced that they have arrested three men on suspicion of attempted murder after gunshots were fired in Huddersfield last December
This took place on Farriers Way, with no one being injured in the shooting. Despite this three men, aged 28, 30, and 33, have been taken into custody.
The police statement reads “Detectives investigating a firearms discharge in Huddersfield in December have arrested two people in connection with the incident. The discharge happened at around 8.05pm on Monday 1 December on Farriers Way.”
“No one was injured in the incident. Two men aged 28 and 30 were arrested from addresses in Kirklees.”
“They have all been arrested on suspicion of attempt murder and remain in police custody at this time. Four people previously arrested remain on bail pending further inquiries.”
Four other men, associated with the previously mentioned individuals, remain on bail and are awaiting further investigation for their connection to the crime.
This comes after a variety of gun related crimes that have taken place in the Kirklees area. A young man was found bleeding on his driveway after being shot during November of 2025, as well as a man being seriously injured as part of a targeted shooting on December 2nd 2025.
The result of their sentence is pending, with further information needed. more details are soon to come in the coming months.
