At just 21-years-old Caden Cunnigham has established himself as Britains sporting talent in the Taekwondo scene. Originally from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, Caden competes in the +87kg heavyweight division for team GB.
The Huddersfield star started through quest Taekwondo, where he paved the setting stones for his international career – his dedication, talent and ability helped him rise through the ranks and helped him become one of the worlds top competitors.
In the Paris Olympic Games 2024, Caden won silver an achievement that put his name up there with the greats. His success followed him round on the Olympic stage with a run of impressive performances.
In 2023 he claimed gold at the European Games and then by continuing his dominant run, he then became European champion in 2024.
Now in 2026, he has won Gold in the Men’s +87kg heavy weight devision at European Championships in Munich.
This is one of Cunnighman’s biggest achievements, with competing with against the continents best athletes – he showed showed composure, power and determination; proving the youngster goes strength to strength on the international stage.
