The 2026 men and women’s challenge cup final will be taking place at the end of the month Wembley at for the first time since 1999. The women’s final kicks off at 11;45am with the men’s final following at 3pm.

For the men’s challenge cup final, it will be between Wigan Warriors and last year’s champions Hull KR. Wigan made it past the semifinals with ease after dismantling St Helens 32-0 meanwhile Champions Hull KR got past Warrington in a game that ended 32-12.
Hull KR will be looking to become back-to-back champions for the first time in the club’s history after beating Warrington last year 8-6 to take home the Challenge Cup. Wigan will be looking to win the final again after beating Warrington in 2024 but not being able to retain the title last year.
In the women’s challenge cup last year’s winners Wigan are the first team into the final after thrashing York 52-0 to reach the final in back-to-back years. Wigan will face St Helens after they beat Leeds rhinos in the semifinal in a game that ended 30-14. This will be the first time in 5 years that Leeds rhino have not been involved in the final. St Helens will be looking to get revenge on wigan for last year’s final where they lost 42-6. The final is hyped up to be a great day of rugby league between four top teams who are all looking to win the competition and take home silverware.
