Huddersfield Town started off strong as they took on Rotherham United on a cold Tuesday night in the Virty Trophy. The terriers took the lead from a superb shot by Leicester City loanee Will Alves before a safe headed shot made it two-nil by Lasse Sorensen with 5 minutes to play.

Cameron Ashia would go on to finish off the match with a goal of his own to help secure a place in the next round.

Lee Grant has had a bad run of form recently, but the win should help calm the nerves of the terriers manager.
