A suspect remains in custody and enquiries remain ongoing following the attempt of murder of a man in Huddersfield on Saturday at petrol station on Bradley Road. West Yorkshire Police were called to the Pennine Service station around 13:30 BST on Saturday 26th April.

Officers found a man on the scene with life-threatening injuries and he was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, where he remains in a critical condition.

A 32-year-old Huddersfield man was arrested at the scene by attending officers on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of class A drugs.

Kirklees CID is continuing to investigate and appeal for witnesses following the very serious assault.
