Right in the heart of Halifax town centre, a live music venue has announced multiple events to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Since opening in 2016, The Grayston Unity has welcomed local and international artists, all while providing the local community with a space dedicated to entertainment.
Now, this live music institution is gearing up for its 10th anniversary celebrations which consist of a week-long programme spanning live music, quizzing and a curated DJ set.
On Thursday 21 May, the Halifax-based cultural hub has organised a ’10th Birthday Music Quiz’ and they’re making sure all music lovers can attend, as it’s completely free to attend.

The following night on Friday 22 May, it’s over to Canadian act Bonnie Trash to soundtrack the night, and they’re joined by none other than Bradford post-punk band Clan of Anarchy.
Anyone wanting to continue this party right through to the weekend have not one but two chances to celebrate alongside The Grayston Unity team with events listed for Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May too.
First up, there’s a special party commencing from 7.30pm on Saturday which will be hosted by DJ Turnip who’s always ready to ‘turnip the beets’ no matter what.
Although birthdays may be all about receiving presents, this Halifax gig venue is giving some away to lucky attendees, offering free pints to the first 70 partygoers.
