Reports today suggest that Leeds United chiefs have revealed that they won’t sack Daniel Farke at the end of the season, even if he fails to secure promotion back to the Premier League.
The Whites are currently sat in second place in the EFL Championship with just one game to go. They’ll face Southampton on the final day at Elland Road with a win being vital for their promotion hopes.
However, it’s not in their hands as Ipswich Town are level on points and have a game in hand. The Tractor Boys only need 4 points from their last 2 games in order to secure a return to the Premier League for the first time since 2002 and face Preston tonight to move one step closer to back to back promotions.
The German boss has reportedly impressed the hierarchy at Elland Road, particularly during the start of 2024 when they went 15 games unbeaten which propelled them into the title race.
Farke also boasts experience in the Championship as a 2 time title winner with Norwich City and he seems to be the man to send Leeds back to the top of the English football pyramid.
