Bailey O'Connor's first words as a Dewsbury Rams player

23 year old full-back Bailey O’Connor has signed for Dewsbury Rams from Featherstone Rovers, for the 2026 season.

It was announced last Friday that Featherstone would no longer be playing in the Championship for the 2026 season. After a phoenix bid was rejected due to potential new owners not meeting the RFL’s governance criteria. Leaving players without a club on the week of the season starting.

The Rams’ acted quickly signing the utility back just days after the RFL’s announcement. O’Connor played for the club in 2023, when they managed to win the League One title. He scored 13 tries in 39 games during his last stint at the club which came to the end at the end of the 2024 season.
