Terriers owner, Kevin Nagle has accepted that he has a very important decision to make as his side finished 23rd in the championship on 45 points.
The American football owner took to Twitter (X) last night reassuring fans “we are working furiously behind the scenes”. In another tweet, Nagle responds to a fan implying that “he has a very important decision to make”.
Current manager, Andre Breitenreiter has acknowledged that he has a decision to make regrading his future at the club. Breitenreiter admitted to entering contract discussions with Huddersfield Town owner about his future at the club.
The German manager managed 13 games in total in charge of Huddersfield Town having a current record of 2 wins, 5 draws and 6 losses.
Breitenreiter has been heavily critical of his side in recent weeks regarding the squad as “not brave enough”. Breitenreiter also questioned the attitude of some of his players for their part in Town’s pitiful demotion to League One. He added a further comment reiterating “a full reset” is needed for the upcoming 2024/25 campaign.
It still remains unknown whether the German who only joined mid-February on a two-and-a-half year deal will remain at the club for the upcoming season.
Nagle, speaking after the recent 2-0 loss at Ipswich said that he had a “great meeting” with the 50 year old and that talks will continue this week.
