The 46th annual Festival of Folk in Holmfirth is this weekend and is set to be a sunny, fun filled event. The festival is running from Friday the 10th till Sunday the 12th and will feature a range of musical acts including Merry Hell, Lazlo Baby and The Apple Sellers. But the stars of the show are the folk and Morris dancers who will be in the traditional get up performing throughout the weekend.
Holmfirth also looks the part. Prior to the event Holmfirth villagers were encouraged to help create bunting in various designs to decorate the festival. Even a camping found has been set up to house tents and campers for those visitors who are not quite ready to leave. Its set to be a fun weekend will you be attending?
