A 600k project that aims to regenerate a part of Bradford City Centre has begun, more than three years after funding for the scheme was granted.

The works will cause disruption to business owners, pedestrians and motorists in the area until May 31. Abdul Saboor, who has a business in the area, says “They need cars and they need more parking”

As part of the project, a new pedestrian crossing and parking bays are expected to be installed, alongside the planting of new trees.
