Inter Milan take on Barcelona tonight at the San Siro in the Champions League semi finals, with both teams having aspirations of making the final of the European Cup.

Inter have the chance to make their second final in the past 3 editions of the competition, with hopes of redeeming their 1-0 loss to Manchester City in 2023. Barcelona have seen a return to form after a disappointing string of seasons that have seen them not make a final since 2015, when they won with the famous Messi, Suarez and Neymar trio.

Tonight’s match comes after a classic first leg tie that finished three a piece, with several players shining on both sides. Most notably, 17 year old Lamine Yamal bagged a stunning solo effort that halved the deficit making the score 2-1. Inter Milan’s Marcus Thuram scored a beautiful flick in the opening minute, before a flurry of goals from each side created a match that will live long in the memory of football fans across the world.

Both sides come off the back of impressive quarter final victories, with Barcelona taking down German side Dortmund, and Inter defeating recently crowned Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. Favourites PSG are likely to await the victor in the final after their 1-0 defeat of Arsenal on Tuesday. The Parisians will be a difficult opponent, with their mixture of youth and experience hoping to guide them towards their first European Cup title.
