Huddersfield Towns fixture this weekend against Shrewsbury Town is up in the air as a result of the snow front that hit most of the UK this week.

The hosts Shrewsbury announced today on their social media that they are taking a close look at the quality of their pitch ahead of the tie this weekend.

Michael Duffs side will be hoping to take advantage of their game in hand against their promotion rivals Wycombe and Wrexham as they both play in the FA cup this weekend.

Town were eliminated back in November against non-league side Tamworth so their league campaign continues this weekend.

Should the game go ahead and Huddersfield pick up the win, they would remain 4th in League One but would close the gap with Wrexham and Wycombe to just 1 point.
