Sheffield based motorbike racing team GR Motosport are set to enter this years WCR Women’s world championships.

Brent Gladwin formed the team 30 years ago, and has decided now is the right time to step away from the BSB Bennetts British Superbike Championship, and move his focus to the women’s races.

After much success with riders such as Storm Stacey, Joe Francis, Tom Neave and Luke Mossey, to name but a few, Brent and co. have now put their faith in young Chloe Jones, who they feel has the necessary skills to get win after win for the GR team.

Chloe, who has been racing since she was 11, YES 11!!, was entered as a wildcard during the Jerez WCR round last season by GR Motosport, and has proven in her performances since that she is the right fit for the team behind her.

I caught up with Brent earlier this week, to find out more about what attracted the team to Chloe, how they are feeling before the start of the season, and what their expectations are for the year ahead.
