On-Loan Striker Melvine Malard is trying to make history for Manchester United Women’s this Sunday.  

it is their second consecutive season to the FA Cup Final and they have yet to take the trophy home. 

Malard joined from Lyon this summer, she aspires to guide United to the victory this time, when they take on Tottenham Spurs. 

“It would be very special if we win the trophy, especially for the club, and for me personally.”  

“It would mean I would truly apart of the club history, every day I learn more and more about United’s past victories.” 

One example she highlights is that; “It was the first time we beat Chelsea within the tournament” 

Malard had also learnt of last season’s loss and hopes that; “Together we can re-write history” 

Sam Kerr blasted the winner for Chelsea last season, in front of a record domestic crowd of 77, 390. 

As for the French Striker, Malard’s dream of playing in a sold-out Wembley Stadium is about to become a reality. 

“Who knows, how many other opportunities there will be, it’s amazing”
