Yorkshire drew against Glamorgan in the County Championship- their fourth draw of the season so far. The second division side are yet to secure a win this season.
A scintillating 173 by young opener Finlay Bean and a sublime 156 by former England captain Joe Root put Yorkshire firmly in front after spin duo Dom Bess and Daniel Moriarty bowled Glamorgan for 221 in the first innings.
A healthy lead of 298 wasn’t enough to earn Yorkshire their first win, however, with fantastic centuries from Colin Ingram and this season’s top run scorer Sam Northeast halting Yorkshire in their tracks.
Yorkshire needed wickets to clinch victory on the final day, but after thunder and lightening stopped play, the weather conditions meant play was abandoned.
