Huddersfield Giants play Salford Red Devils on the 3rd of may in the Super league.
The game comes over a week since they lost in dramatic fashion in the last minute of their game against St Helens 13-12. This result left them sitting 7th in the Super league on 10 points, two points off the Red Devils in 6th. The Giants haven’t played at their home, the John Smiths Stadium in almost seven weeks.
Luke Robinson the assistant coach of the giants has given an update on Matty English; ‘He took a bit of a knock it was more of a precaution than anything… It’s one of those where if we really need him, we could roll him.’ He said.
He also batted away any rumours of Luke Yates leaving during the Super League Transfer window which opened yesterday, saying that they he is still a Giant.
Luke Halsall spoke about his goals for the rest of the season; ‘Just play as much as possible. Keep flying under the radar. Ticking off them wins and then see where we are at the back end of the year.’ Halsall said.
