Wakefield trinity have rejected a bid from Hull Kingston Rovers for the signing of 35 year old Luke gale, the 2017 man of steel winner is heavily wanted by Hull, Wakefield are trying their hardest to keep hold of the scrum-half.

Rovers have identified the experience of Luke Gale as someone who is able to provide cover and to compete with the likes of Mikey Lewis and Tyrone May, but their approach has been blocked by Wakefield trinity

Wakefield Trinity will be hoping to keep hold of the 35 year old, as they look to get back into the super league having been relegated last season.
