Pre season training is a core aspect of developing of players’ fitness, strength and conditioning to guarantee the team kick off their first game against Leigh Leopards on February 16th with a bang.

Although physical training is not the only goal of this trip, Huddersfield Giants are also developing their team work skills as living, eating and playing together for 7 days can build bonds that sometimes cannot be made on the pitch.

Oliver Russell stated ”It’s not just about the game anymore, it’s about spending quality time with the boys and the bonding in-between which will make us the strongest team in the league continuing to grow as a club”.

The team have also been granted a day off training which has led to out-of-training bonding, but still with a sport style added to the fun such as kick tennis on the beach and also the cross bar challenge, ending the day under the setting sun together.

There is also new development in the Huddersfield Giants women’s team with Amelia Brown (winger) who has recently just earned her call up to England’s national performance squad which is a huge accomplishment due to only being at the club since 2021.

Success is on the horizon for the super league team as they continue their journey, holding back with no intention to let anybody stand in their path.
